Cranial Plate & Screw System
RIALTO Cranial Plate and Screw System
A complete cranial bracket system designed to support bone flap positioning, fixation and closure with a dedicated set of instruments and components.
Product Overview
A focused solution for cranial flap fixation
RIALTO Cranial Plate & Screw System is developed around a bracket-based approach for cranial surgery. Its configuration supports a clear operative sequence, from bracket positioning and modeling to bone flap fixation and closure.
The product page brings together visual assets, application video, technical information and clinical documentation to give surgeons, hospitals and distribution partners a complete overview of the system.
Product Details
Straightforward application in neurosurgical cranial fixation
A concise technical summary highlights the key references of the RIALTO system, including product identity, system classification, CE marking and distribution information.
System Components
A dedicated set for RIALTO placement
The RIALTO set combines the components described in the surgical technique material: five cranial brackets, twenty screws, a screwdriver and a sterilization container.
Cranial brackets
The surgical technique describes five RIALTO cranial brackets positioned around the bone flap.
Screws
The technique describes fixation with two screws for each bracket after modeling.
Screwdriver
The set includes a screwdriver dedicated to the screw fixation step.
Sterilization container
The system is supplied with a dedicated container shown in the RIALTO material.
Surgical Workflow
From Kempe incision to flap fixation
The six-step overview summarizes the main operative sequence described in the RIALTO surgical technique, from access planning to closure support.
- Modified Kempe incisionThe technique recommends a modified Kempe incision to support vascularisation of the myocutaneous flap and facilitate skin closure.
- Bone flap openingHoles are usually made in the frontal-basal area, at the base of the temple, in front of the tragus and in the posterior-superomedial area.
- Bracket preparationFive cranial RIALTO brackets are fitted starting from the skull. A guiding hole of approximately 3 mm is made where the 1 mm tip needs to be inserted.
- Correct orientationThe brackets must be oriented correctly, with the letter C looking up as shown in the surgical technique drawings.
- Modeling and fixationAfter fixation, the brackets are gently and slowly modeled without twisting, until the bone flap can rest on the bracket shelves.
- Closure supportThe technique describes full-thickness crisscross pulling points at the corners of the front and back flaps to help soft tissue approximation.
Operating Technique Video
Visual guidance for the RIALTO surgical technique
The operating technique video provides a practical visual reference for the neurosurgical application of RIALTO, illustrating the main steps of bracket positioning, modeling and fixation during cranial flap closure.
Product Advantages
Practical benefits built around the surgical workflow
RIALTO is organized as a complete bracket and screw system, with dedicated components designed to support the key steps of cranial flap repositioning and fixation.
